After nearly 11 years away from the music scene and touring the country, Aly & AJ Michalka have gone on to become main stay stars on television with Aly starring in the hit zombie series on the CW’s iZombie. AJ also found success with ABC’s The Goldbergs and eventually getting her own spin-off Schooled. Like most artists, it’s hard to keep them off the stage as Aly and AJ announced a return to music with a tour and a brand new EP ‘Sanctuary’ slated to drop May 10th, 2019.

One of the duos stops on tour started with St. Louis, MO at the new Delmar Hall in the heart of the Delmar Loop in University City. The show had all the benefits of being a perfect summer night in May and being Friday night. Aly & AJ fans packed the venue hall as new and old fans waited for the show to begin. Opening up for the duo was Armors, a California band who pumped up the crowd waiting for Aly & AJ. After the half hour set the stage was set for Aly & AJ to make their big return to St. Louis. The lights went down and the stage lit up as Aly & AJ emerged from the darkness and took center stage, the crowd went insane as the first note hit and the show began. “Church” their first single from the new EP was the first song and the crowd in Delmar Hall sang along to every word, jumping & dancing on the dance floor. They played the classics from “Good Love”, “I Know”, and “Potential Breakup Song” among many others. Aly & AJ kicked off the summer of concerts for St. Louis and they left a great impression. The Sanctuary Tour is just getting started and we can not recommend it enough. If Aly & AJ are in your town we recommend you buy your tickets now!
